Over 35 schools from up an down California are expected to congregate to Salinas on Saturday to take part in the annual Salinas High Bill Kearney Invitational at Hartnell College.
Enterprise High from Redding will send close to 100 kids to the meet while southern section power Arroyo Grande will be on hand along with Bullard High of Fresno.
For a lot of athletes, this is the last big meet prior to their league championships to drop their time or improve their marks in a highly competitive atmosphere.
