Palma basketball

Tuesday's CCS Semifinal
Division IV
No. 4 Palma vs. No. 1 Sacred Heart Prep-Atherton at Menlo School, 7:30 p.m.
Essentially, this is a home game for the top-seeded Gators, whose campus is across the street from Menlo School.
Palma should be used to the gym at Menlo, having played six games there in the last three years, going 3-3. Of course, all three losses have come in the semifinals.
Co-champions of the West Bay Athletic League, Sacred Heart Prep was 5-1 down the stretch, with its only loss coming for Harker.
Corbin Koch is a 6-foot-3 junior shooting guard that has knocked down 45 3-point goals this year for the Gators, averaging just under 18 points a game.
Sophomore Mason Randall, who quarterbacked Sacred Heart to a CCS Division IV title and a spot in the state title game, is providing nearly eight points a game.
It's been a scoring by committee approach all season at Palma. Eight different players have led the team in scoring.
In Saturday's playoff opener, Peter Lucas and Dalton Dovolis combined for 35 points. Six seniors were a part of last year's season ending loss.
