Pacific Grove baseball

Why is it that each time a team in the MTAL losses a baseball game outside its league, the first thing you here is the league is weak.
 No one is comparing the MTAL to the West Catholic Athletic League.
 But to say Pacific Grove's county record 38 game winning streak was based on a soft schedule is ridiculous.
 Keep in mind, it did win two Central Coast Section Division III titles during that run. I can think of at least two teams that play in power leagues that were in the Division III playoffs.
 Yeah, the Breakers have lost two games this spring. One to a team that's ranked No. 1 in the nation.
 In baseball, the MTAL is better than most people think.
