Depth has always been a critical element to North County's run at supremacy in track for 35 years.
The undefeated Condors, who host unbeaten Christopher today, will need every point to have a shot at the Gabilan Division powers.
Training on dirt does not hurt North County's shot at an upset.
Yet, where the Condors strength lies is in the field events with Taylor Blaha and Tori Teraji.
Blaha was a quadruple winner last week and is undefeated this year in the high jump, long jump and triple jump. Last spring she was a finalist in the CCS in the triple jump.
Teraji is among the leagues elite in the shot put, discus and pole vault. Finding points in the running events starts with Destaney Vasquez and Elisa Ibarra.
Christopher, though, could score 60 points in the sprints and hurdles.
