Alisal baseball

The Trojans are clearly a different team when Lorenzo Novoa is on the mound.
The senior was effective in a loss to Watsonville and impressive in beating Seaside on Wednesday.
Now can Alisal put another arm out there to keep games close?
Because the hitting is starting to come around behind the bats of Carlos Vera, JC Maravillo and Jose Ibarra.
For a program that has not had a winning season since father time, or at least since the turn of the millennium, Alisal appears pointed in the right direction under head coach Graham Santiago.
Fundamentals are still a sticking point with him. Yet, each day the Trojans get a little stronger, and a little more confident.
