Saturday morning thoughts

Dramatics: Jake Speed catching a touchdown pass on fourth down in the fourth quarter in Pacific Grove's 42-41 win over King City.
Champions: Alvarez clinching its first ever league title outright, beating Watsonville to go to 9-0 for the first time in school history.
Tradition: Palma is headed to the postseason for the 30th straight year, clinching the Gabilan Division title with its 11 straight league win.
Nailbiter: Marina rallying in the second half for an entertaining 26-23 win over stubborn Greenfield for its school record fourth win.
Heart: King City giving undefeated Pacific Grove all it could handle before succumbing in the final minutes 42-41.
Prayers: A speed recovery for Seaside receiver Ronnie Turner, who was knocked unconscious after making a tackle, and taken to the hospital.
