MPC-San Jose City football

Saturday's game
Monterey Peninsula (3-5) at San Jose City (3-5), 3 p.m.
The Lobos still control their conference fate. Closing the season with a pair of wins would result in no worse than a share of their third straight title.
MPC may be without the services of quarterback Andrew Loudenback, was injured last week and did not return in the second half of a 32-22 loss to Cabrillo.
Loudenback had thrown eight touchdown passes in his last three games without an interception. The Lobos managed just three second half points in his absence last week.
Sean Johnson-Bey has given MPC a presence in the backfield while receivers David Hightower and Joseph Jakubowsky have combined for 53 catches.
The Jaguars saw their three-game winning streak snapped last week in a 34-7 loss to Hartnell. Quarterback Brodrick Thomas has thrown for 1,104 yards and has rushed for 501, combining for 15 touchdowns.
