Hartnell (6-2) vs. Gavilan (3-5) at Gilroy, 1 p.m.
A win and the Panthers clinch no worse than a share of their third straight Coast Conference title and a likely bowl bid.
This game has the makings of a shootout. Hartnell leads the conference in scoring at 35 points a game while Gavilan is second at 32.2.
Tailback DeAndre Mann padded his school record touchdown total to 34 last week. The sophomore has produced a state leading 20 touchdowns this season for the Panthers.The rest of the team has 17.
Mann is currently second in the state in rushing with 1,134 yards. Curt Ceralde has thrown for nearly 1,200 yards for the Panthers while Da'Quan Smith has 36 catches.
Quarterback Nate Ellis has thrown for just under 1,700 yards and 16 touchdowns for the Rams this season. Hartnell has 11 interceptions as a team, six from Anthony Smithson.
