Cabrillo-MPC football

Saturday's game
Cabrillo (1-6) at MPC (3-4), 6 p.m.
The reigning two-time co Coast Conference champion Lobos are at it again.
After a poor non-conference showing, MPC is undefeated in the conference, having scored 34 points in each of its last two games.
Quarterback Andrew Loudenback is a difference maker for the Lobos. He has not thrown a pick in the teams three wins, while tossing 10 touchdown passes.
A revitalized ground game saw Sean Johnson-Bey become the first MPC back to go over 100 yards  rushing last week. Remember, this is a team that was minus rushing yards in two losses.
Michael Lopez has given the special teams a spark on punt returns while former North County High teammate Rufino Calderon leads the Lobos in tackles.
The Seahawks have used two different quarterbacks this year with Lucas Romanski having thrown 10 touchdown passes, with no interceptions in 134 attempts.
Former Watsonville High tailback Fabian Serrano leads Cabrillo in rushing.
