King City football

An argument can be made that defense has become the identity of the Mustangs.
Remember, it was the defense that produced 14 points in King City's first win of the year. And it was the defense that saved last Friday's 9-7 win over Soledad.
With three straight wins, the Mustangs are still in the postseason chase, sitting one game behind co-leaders Pacific Grove and Carmel in the MTAL.
King City still has games with Stevenson and Pacific Grove. So it controls its fate, which is all you can ask for.
But this offense has to many weapons not to be more of a factor. It's time to reward that defense by keeping them off the field and living up to that potential.
