Friday's game
Pajaro Valley (1-1) at Gonzales (0-1), 7:30 p.m.
The Grizzlies have scored 40 or more points twice in their last 22 games -- and both have come in wins over Harbor, including last week's 41-21 decision.
Gonzales has allowed 40 or more points in five of its last six games dating back to 2012, including a season opening 56-13 setback to Alvarez two weeks ago.
The Spartans could have their hands full in containing Pajaro Valley's Anthony Cantrell, who broke the single-season school rushing record for yards last year (1,299).
Cantrell has rushed for 213 yards in the Grizzlies first two games and has scored three of the teams' six touchdowns this fall.
Pajaro Valley's only win last year came when it beat Gonzales 34-7
