North County-Soledad football

Friday's game
North County (0-1) at Soledad (2-0), 7:30 p.m.
Having snapped a nine game season opening losing streak last week, the Aztecs will look to start the year 2-0 for the first time since 2001.
Soledad moved the ball well in the second half last week, as quarterback Fernando Longoria rushed for three touchdowns in igniting a 24-0 spurt that erased a 16-12 deficit.
Despite 193 yards on 27 carries from running back Carlos Anaya, North County was victimized by turnovers in falling 42-20 to Galelio of San Francisco.
The focus in practice this week for the Condors was being more disciplined after being flagged for to many penalties. Can Anaya hold up getting 25 plus carries a game?
Soledad, who was 5-1 at home last year, will be on the road for the next five weeks and won't play another home game until Nov. 1.
