Tour stops

Of the 14 stops we've made on our football tour to date, six have synthetic fields to practice on while eight use grass fields.
 The biggest difference is the eight schools that have grass fields for home games do not practice on them for fear of tearing them up over three months.
 Ironically, North Salinas has a synthetic facility, but chooses to practice on grass.
 North Salinas is also one of three teams that practices on campus, but plays games at a different site.
 In addition, Carmel, Marina and North County have all gone away from the glossy finish on their helmets to a flat look.
 Seattle and Minnesota have done it in the NFL.
