The former Salinas High slugger and Cal All-American is hitting .339 for the Kansas City Royals Triple A team in Omaha.
The 32-year-old Nady leads the team in homers (10) and runs batted in (33).
The Royals, meanwhile, are hitting .257 as a team with no pop in their lineup. They have changed hitting coaches.
I guess it makes too much sense to bring up Nady and his 101 career major league home runs and use him as DH.
