Summer League updates

Nick Halamadaris is spending his summer playing baseball in the Northwoods League for Wilmar as a first baseman-outfielder.
Halamadaris, a Stevenson graduate, who was taken in the eighth round of the 2012 MLB draft by the Mariners, is hitting .222 for Wilmar, a college summer league team in the Midwest.
The 6-foot-1 Cal sophomore has a home run and eight runs scored through 14 games. Halamandaris' teammate is King City grad Marc Flores.
Devin Pearson is also playing in the Northwoods League for St. Cloud, where the Cal outfielder has seven runs batted in and seven runs scored in 17 games.
Pearson, who prepped at Carmel and was taken in the 30th round by Toronto in 2012, has six walks and has been hit by four pitches.
