Palma-Menlo baseball

Menlo (21-7) vs. Palma (22-6)
Tuesday, 7 p.m. at San Jose Municipal Stadium
Division III semifinals
While Palma has rattled off 10 straight wins, the West Bay Athletic League champion Knights come in with a nine game winning streak.
The top seeded Chieftains have not been tested in the postseason, having needed just six innings to 10 run both St. Lawrence and Terra Nova.
The Knights, meanwhile, needed late inning heroics to beat Carmel 3-2 and Soquel 4-3.
The two private powers share two common opponents in Soquel and Monterey, which both Menlo and the Chieftains defeated.
Amos Strauss drove in a season high four runs in the Chieftains last game while Cameron Neff had three hits while tossing a three hitter.
Neff has started both playoff games, having thrown just eight innings. He would be eligible to pitch tonight, although Austin Wahl is 8-0 this year.
Menlo has some live bats, hitting .325 as a team this spring. Will King hit .395 this year while Mikey Diekroeger hit .392.
