The Breakers are three wins shy from the first perfect season in CCS baseball history.
Three more wins would also put them in elite company as one of only six teams to win 30 games in a season.
 The CCS record for wins was set in 2011 by Palo Alto when it won 38 games. The Monterey County record is 31, set by Carmel in 2005.
 The defending CCS Division III champion Breakers have won back-to-back section titles before in 1998-1999.
