The Cowboys are as healthy as they've been since the start of the season, having endured a stretch where five different starters missed time with injuries.
Los Gatos was just 6-6 in the De Anza Athletic League, but did close the season with two straight wins. Just 34 of its 177 hits went for extra bases.
A common opponent is Santa Cruz. Los Gatos handed them a 9-4 loss while the Cowboys beat Santa Cruz 14-1.
Last spring the Cowboys reached the CCS Division I semifinals for the first time since 1998. A win over Los Gatos could set up a rematch of last year's semifinals with Carlmont.
