Finishing behind Menlo and Sacred Heart Prep in the West Bay Athletic League, 11 players are either freshmen or sophomores for King's Academy of Sunnyvale.
The defending CCS Division III champion Breakers have won a county record 34 straight games that dates back to last spring.
The No. 2 seed in Division III, Pacific Grove is trying to become the first team in the CCS to win a title and go undefeated on the season.
Kevin Teskey has come out of nowhere to finish as the team leader in hits, multiple hit games and runs batted in. He's also 4-0 with three saves.
Pitcher Chris Clements, who will likely start today, set a single-season school record for wins with 12. Four players have been starters since their freshmen season.
