The Santa Catalina High graduate has lowered her earned run average to a team low 1.85 for the UC Santa Barbara softball team.
Pingree is 8-4 in 16 starts for the Gauchos, with 40 strikeouts in 90 innings. The freshman hurler has made 23 appearances on the mound, recording her first collegiate save.
Pingree is Santa Catalina's all-time leader in wins and strikeouts, hurling the team to two MTAL titles and one CCS crown.
