Three times this spring the junior has broken the Notre Dame school record in the 800 meters.
Lathos may need to shave more time on Friday if she has aspirations of reaching the state meet.
At 2:15.00, she comes in with the third best time from last Saturday's trials. However, there are three other runners in the finals that have run faster this spring.
Remember, only the top three advance to the finals.
Lathos needs a strong first 100 meters, then creep in behind the trio and let them do the bulk of the work over the first 600 meters. When she makes her move, it's got to be immediate.
