Trevor Schapiro

 The Monterey High graduate broke a 32-year-old swimming record at Lewis & Clark, finishing fifth overall in the 500 free in 4:42.9 at the Northwest Conference Swimming Championships in Federal Way, Wash.
 Schapiro also placed fifth in the 1,650 free and 12th in the 200 fly. The sophomore was also named the teams MVP.
