Soledad-Pacific Grove baseball

The Aztecs' record breaking 8-0 start will get its first big test today when they face the defending CCS Division III champion Breakers, who are also 8-0.
Dating back to last year, Pacific Grove has rattled off 15 straight wins behind a pitching by committee approach that has allowed just 17 runs all season.
The Breakers are still riding the wave of emotion from last springs dynamic finish. Soledad has relied on sophomore hurler Daniel Farfan, who is 5-0 after a 12 strikeout effort on Wednesday.
But with no Farfan for today, the Aztecs will likely use as many as three hurlers today in an effort to keep the Breakers bats off-balanced.
Kevin Teskey continues to swing a hot bat for Pacific Grove with team highs in hits and runs batted in.
