Are the Spartans for real?
Six straight wins says yes.
That and the fact that this team is on pace to shatter any stolen base record kept in California.
Seaside is averaging over eight steals a game. At its current rate, it will finish with 176 steals.
Of course, you can't steal if you can't get on base. During their six-game winning streak heading into today's game at North County, the Spartans are averaging 11 runs a game.
 Seaside doesn't hide the fact that it's going to run. Maxx Usrey and Matt Lualemana have 38 steals between them.
 Granted the Spartans have yet to beat a team with a winning record. But that's not their fault. And Gilroy is coming to town on Friday.
