Perfection, title implications and potential CCS placement are all at stake tonight when San Benito travels to Seaside.
The Balers have a CCS leading 19 wins and a two-game lead over Seaside and Palma in the MBL's Gabilan Division at 9-0.
Yet, if there is going to be disruption in San Benito's quest for perfection in the Gabilan Division, it's going to come this week with back-to-back battles with Seaside and Palma.
The Balers jumped out to a 14-point lead in their first meeting with Seaside before hanging on for a six-point win. That was the battle in which two starters showed up late for the Spartans.
Both teams are also on the bubble in terms of jumping into the CCS Open Division playoffs, which would ensure a trip to the State Northern California tournament in their respective divisions.
