not taking anything away from Manzur, who own heavyweight division this year.but not having his biggest rival,John Tuilelosega who has beaten him in state last two years.

why didnt tuiolosega wrestle this year?

I hear he wanted to focus on football only this year.

No doubt Tuiolosega would be a tough opponent, but Manzur took it to another level this year...wrestled all summer for Mexico national team and CA freesyle wresting team (state champ at Hvwt). Manzur hasn't lost since the freetyle season has been over (which he was wrestling nationally ranked kids). Maybe if Tuioloseg wrestled allyear like Manzur it would be close, but not just wrestling part time this year. Couple of state matches I hope to see this year would be Manzur againt Clovis #1 in state and nationally ranked Nevelis...could happen. manzur is #4 in CA right now...arguablky should be ranked #2 or 3.

CCS team scores will have Gilroy #1 and Palma #2...Palma didn't have Rehbein injured and maybe they challenge for title overall. Palma has some junior high kid I hear that will be state or even nationally ranked by next year or as a soph. Pospect is very good for the program the next few years even with losses to graduation this year...will need to fill heavuer weights though.

I believe Manzur has better head to head against Tuilelosega but lost in close match in CCS final lst season. If Tuilelosega trained, he could have been a top state ranked wrestler this year, but focused on football. Manzur had football interest and could play on, but decided to wrestle at the next level.
