Palma-Alvarez boys hoops

How will Palma respond without UCLA bound guard Noah Allen tonight when it opens its Gabilan Division season, hosting Alvarez?
Allen, who has a fractured wrist and will likely miss the first six games of the league season, was averaging just under 24 points a game for Palma.
The Chieftains are undefeated in his absence at 2-0. But this is clearly a different team without the four-year starting guard.
Alvarez has not been the same since opening the season with a school record 9-0 start. It is 1-3 since, including a 63-39 loss to Palma in the Scattini Tournament on Dec. 21.
While Palma will rely on its defense to slow the tempo, the Eagles will push the ball and turn to 6-foot-7 Mitchell Wood in the paint.

Been pretty impressed with Palma's defense this year including without Noah. They are still a pretty good team, and with Noah they have a shot going far ointhe D4 division in CCS and regionals. I think with Noah, Palma is 10+ on Seaside, and without him it still will be a decent game.
