You won't find another game where the pace is as intense and as frantic as tonight when Seaside and Monterey meet in the Toreadores historic gym.
Adding to the up-tempo flavor is the venue, which isn't a regulation size gym, with the baselines just three feet from the walls.
While Monterey is in a retooling mood, the 10-1 Spartans are still looking for a little more chemistry on the floor.
In addition, Seaside has to learn how to finish games, after watching an 18-point fourth quarter lead cut to three last week against Salinas.
Last week Kyle Hieb did a solid job in containing Salinas high scoring guard Josef Delk.
Tonight he will likely have the task of slowing down Monterey's Chris Russo, who is averaging 25 points a game.
