He has teased us the last two weeks by warming up with his teammates in each of Palma's last five  games.
Just once has Noah Allen appeared on the court -- and it was for defensive purposes.
So will he return today when the Chieftains open the second half of the season at Alvarez?
Only if his fractured right wrist gets cleared by doctors.
 The 6-foot-6 UCLA bound senior guard didn't have a cast on his wrist last week when he warmed up against Salinas.
 So he is close to returning.
 In his absence, Palma is 4-2 in the Gabilan Division.
 He likely won't be 100 percent the rest of the season. But 75 percent of Allen still makes him the best player in the county.
