Greenfield-Carmel boys hoops

The undefeated Bruins are going to get one shot at the reigning two-time Mission Trail Athletic League champion Padres, and that's tonight in Greenfield.
Because of the additions of Pacific Collegiate and York, Carmel and the Bruins will only play once this year in league play.
Behind sharpshooters Rudy Amezcua and Josue Gutierrez, Greenfield is off to a record breaking 5-0 start in MTAL play. The pair are both averaging over 19 points a game.
The Padres have turned to youth to keep themselves unbeaten as freshman John Stivers is coming off back-to-back double-doubles.
The two teams did meet earlier this year in a tournament with Carmel prevailing 60-50.
