Carmel hoops

The Padres boys and girls basketball programs have been told that they have to make up their games at Pacific Collegiate or forfeit them.
 Carmel felt the facilities that Pacific Collegiate uses for its home games was unsafe two weeks ago and did not take the court. At least two other teams in the MTAL agree.
 But the league commissioner has said the facility is acceptable.
 Carmel disagrees.
 It has offered to host the games and give Pacific Collegiate the gate.
 Pacific Collegiate said no.
 I don't blame. I wouldn't want to drive 55 minutes to play a home game.
 Would Carmel consider forfeiting for the safety of its kids? That's a huge statement.
