If the Trojans have a slogan this winter, it's unfinished business.
Still stinging from a CCS Division I semifinal loss to Serra on penalty kicks last season, Alisal has raced out of the gates this year at 11-0-1.
Dating back to 2011, the Trojans have gone 37 regular season games without a loss.
In fact, the only losses Alisal has suffered in its last 41 overall games have come on penalty kicks in the postseason.
Alisal made a statement on Thursday, knocking off defending CCS Division I champion Watsonville 5-1 on the road. The defense has allowed just five goals all season.
I don't see this team taking its foot off the pedal until the mission is completed.
