King City-Pacific Grove football

King City (4-4) at Pacific Grove (6-2), Friday, 7:30 p.m.
How ironic that a field goal has decided the Mustangs last two games -- a win over Soledad on the road, and a loss to Stevenson at home.
For the fourth straight year, the Breakers have improved in the win column under head coach Chris Morgan.
This is a must win for the Mustangs if they have any hope of making the playoffs. It's a must win for Pacific Grove if it has visions of a league title.
Kevin Tesky has been running wild for Pacific Grove, chalking up 268 yards and five touchdowns last week. King City also has to be aware of 6-foot-4 receiver Jordan Borne.
Jake Stephens has either thrown or rushed for 17 touchdowns in league play. DeAndre Sharif is a game changer with his speed, having scored touchdowns on offense, defense and special teams.
