West Valley (1-5) at Monterey Peninsula College (2-4), 6 p.m.
To me, it's simple. Establish the ground game.
Each time Nicholas Alarcon has rushed for over 100 yards, the Lobos have won.
Last week he chalked up a career high 145 yards as MPC began defense of its co-Coast Conference title with a win over Gavilan.
All of Alcaron's touchdowns this fall have come in the Lobos two wins.
MPC's defense created three turnovers last week, with Andre Loudenback returning an interception 54 yards for a touchdown.
Shutout last week for the first time all season by Hartnell, West Valley turned the ball over five times. Two quarterbacks have combined to throw 15 interceptions.
