Hartnell football

Cabrillo (2-4) vs. Hartnell (3-3) at Salinas High, 6 p.m.
Dylan Jackson was a horse last week for the Seahawks, rushing for 161 yards on 37 carries in their 10-0 win over San Jose City.
Former Watsonville three-sport standout Lamar Cowans caught one pass, but it was for a 59-yard touchdown for Cabrillo. He also averaged nearly 14 yards on three punt returns.
Hartnell's defense was impressive in a 27-0 shutout over West Valley, intercepting five passes, with Marquis Webster returning one 15 yards for a touchdown.
As dynamic as tailback DeAndre Mann has been this fall for the defending co-conference champion Panthers, Monterey grade John-Wyatt Williams had a season high 70 rushing yards.
Mann is still the man, leading the Panthers in rushing (731), receptions (16) and touchdowns (14). Alisal alum Ivan Ramos leads the defense in tackles with 41.
Last year Cabrillo sent Hartnell to its only conference loss.
