Monte Vista (5-0) at Seaside (5-0), Friday, 7:30 p.m.
Granted the Mustangs haven't beaten a team with a winning record this year.
But that's not their fault.
Still, Monte Vista hasn't been tested in any game this year, while Seaside sent Soquel to its only loss and knocked off perennial power Palma.
What does that mean?
Nothing.
I think Monte Vista is capable of playing with anyone for one game.
The Mustangs are a balanced attack, averaging 53.5 points a game.
That's not going to happen against this Seaside defense. Both teams like to air it out. But this game comes down to the men in the trenches.
