Yeah, they beat the Giants last year at Candlestick in the regular season, ultimately gaining home field advantage in the playoffs.
But the rematch in the NFC title game still burns inside.
Two fumbles gave that game to the Giants, who went on to win the Super Bowl.
I think Alex Smith's sprained finger will be fine -- or shot up.
My only concern is that coach Harbaugh doesn't try to hard to get former Giants Mario Manningham and Brandon Jacobos involved.
