Monterey is not going to beat Palma throwing the ball like Seaside did last week.
So will the Toreadores be able to run the ball against that Chieftain defense on Friday?
Few teams have had success over the last 28 years.
Then again, St. Joseph did to a tune of over 300 rushing yards two weeks ago.
And last week quarterback Michael Turner scrambled for 82 yards on the ground. Last fall Monterey quarterback Jimmy Hill rushed for nearly 800 yards.

The problem is they will have to throw the ball to beat palma..I dnt see them having a chance being one dimensional and only running the ball. They will have to put it in the air to have a chance at winning. If they dont make palma respect the throwing game then they will load up 8 in the box...Palma is going to be playing with a chip on their shoulder and they are going to go out there nd want to shut people up.
