Monterey (2-0) at Pacific Grove (2-0), Friday, 7:30 p.m.
The only game involving two undefeated teams, the Breakers are averaging 41.5 points a game while Monterey is averaging 52.5 points.
That being said, defense will dictate the outcome. The Toreadores have allowed just seven points all season, that coming in the fourth quarter last week.
Shaunne Katoa is among the best linebackers in the section for Monterey, while Brandon Finona-Gardner is a playmaker on defense.
While both squads have demonstrated a desire to throw the ball, the running game absorbs 80 percent of both offenses.
Pacific Grove has three running backs that have rushed for over 100 yards this year, including Kevin Tesky. Monterey quarterback Jimmy Hill is one of the more underrated players in the county.
