Football picks

No rhyme or reason, but I've got to do more research after going 7-5 last week, putting the season mark at 31-14.

North County at Seaside: The Condors have won the last two meetings. No letdown this week for Seaside: Pick: Seaside.
Gilroy at Salinas: Here's betting that the Cowboys don't go two straight weeks without scoring a touchdown. Pick: Salinas.
Greenfield at Pacific Grove: Two teams that like to control the ball on the ground. The Breakers are a little more bigger up front. Pick: Pacific Grove.
Gonzales vs. Marina at MPC: The Mariners set a school record last week for points in a game. The Spartans depth is depleted. Pick: Gonzales.
Pajaro Valley at North Salinas: The Vikings went 63 games between shutouts. Anthony Cantrell has eight of Pajaro's 12 touchdowns: Pick: North Salinas.
Stevenson at Soledad: The Pirates are one of only two teams in the county still undefeated: Pick: Soledad.
Alvarez at Christopher: Two winless teams still searching for an identity. Pick: Christopher.
Alisal at Watsonville: The Trojans are on the road for the third straight week: Pick: Alisal.
Palma at Monterey: The Dores have won 18 straight home games. Teams with their backs against the wall are dangerous. Pick: Palma.
King City at Carmel: The Mustangs need a fast start. They have trailed first in every game. Pick: Carmel.
