Why are both of these teams in the MBL's Gabilan Division?
The Eagles haven't had a winning season in 10 years while Christopher is in just its third year. Even though it captured a share of the MBL title last year, it was gutted by graduation.
After giving up 107 points in 10 regular season games last fall, the Cougars have allowed 141 in four games this fall. Alvarez has given up more points in each of its first four games.
So are we looking at a shootout?
Well, the Eagles have yet to produce a point in the first quarter. And Christopher was shut out last week for the first time in 21 games.
