Track ringers

Does it bother you that some schools will bring in athletes from other sports to compete in the league track and field championship meets next week?
 I have mixed emotions. I mean, how do you put a mark down if you haven't competed all year?
 Unless your name is Deion Sanders, I don't think you can just step on the track and win without some training.
 Which why most ringers are in the field events.
 That being said, five years ago a long jumper that played softball took part in the league finals and won the long jump.
