Stephen Dorsey

His decision to drop the long jump at the MBL finals was not a surprise.
 The event is stacked in the Central Coast Section and often coincides with the high jump, forcing Dorsey to run back and forth between events.
 The Monterey senior is the defending CCS high jump champion, having finished fifth in the state last spring.
 I am curious to see if Dorsey will continue to pursue a spot in the state meet in four events.
 The 300 low hurdles and triple jump often collide during the meet.
