But Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League co-champion Soquel has some pop as well, having ripped 15 homers as a team this year, with Makenna Provancha and Katrina Agosti both hitting four.
Could we see a power surge in Saturday's Division III title game?
Highly unlikely.
I don't see Soquel even pitching to Aldrete if the Cougars are threatening.
And Alex Pingree hasn't given up a home run all year for 23-1 Santa Catalina. In fact she's allowed just five earned runs all spring.
