Are the Spirits on a redemption tour?
Notre Dame has now avenged losses to North Salinas, Salinas and San Benito during the last five days, having won eight of its last nine games to all but lock up its 24th straight playoff appearance.
The Spirits, who gave up 18 runs to San Benito in their first meeting, beat them 5-1 on Thursday. Five days ago Notre Dame was a combined 0-6 against the three teams.
