The beauty of the Central Coast Section baseball playoffs is that seeding means little other than a first round home game.
In each of the last two years, a No. 1 seeded team in a division has fallen to the No. 16 seed. Two No. 2 seeds -- including Palma in 2010 -- have also fallen in the first round in the last two years.
So it's not a fluke. Getting through the first round might be the most difficult challenge.
