Nina Anderson

Since reaching the state track meet as a sophomore in the 3,200, the Notre Dame distance ace has been fighting leg injuries, finally having surgery last fall, missing the cross country season.
Anderson's goal is to resume her track career in college next year. Apparently, she's not quite done at Notre Dame.
The senior returned to competition for the first time in nearly a year, winning the 3,200 in a dual with North Salinas.
Ignore the 12:20.0 time -- more than 90 seconds off her career best. The most important thing is she ran a pain free race. Anderson has five weeks to step up her workouts.
That's likely not enough time to get her back under 11 minutes. But her presences makes Notre Dame a threat at the TCAL finals. And here's betting she's back in the CCS finals in the 3,200.
