 Have the Spirits regained their stroke at the plate?
 Clearly, they are hitting the ball better, having scored 17 runs in their last two games.
 But during a four-game losing streak, in which Notre Dame scored just three runs, it faced three CCS ranked teams, including WCAL powers Valley Christian and Mitty.
 Six-time defending CCS Division I champion San Benito is in the class of Mitty.
 Notre Dame didn't really find its identity until the postseason last year. Even with two freshmen in the starting lineup this spring, I think the roles are more defined this season.
