It deserves one more mention.
The Toreadores 34-game league winning streak came to an end in a five-game loss on Thursday to San Benito.
So where does it rank?
In terms of other recent streaks, the Toreadores baseball team won 28 straight games before their run was stopped earlier this year.
Monterey had won 15 straight in softball before seeing that run end.
Of course, the longest winning streak in the county occurred in the early 1990's when King City's volleyball team won 121 straight league games.
