One of the more remarkable feats in Hartnell College track and field history was achieved last weekend by Cristian Soratos.
The sophomore distance standout won the 800, 1,500, 5,000 and 10,000 meter runs for the Panthers at the Coast Conference championships.
Soratos, a Salinas graduate, won the 10,000 on Wednesday after breaking the Coast Conference record in the 800 trials earlier in 1:51.68.
He came back on Saturday to run the second fastest 1,500 time in Hartnell history, captured the 800 and finished off the field in the 5,000, supplying 40 of the teams 155 points.
